I’ve been very bad at keeping things together of late and so must apologise to everyone who has messaged me, followed me, or commented on one of my posts and who has not received any form of acknowledgement or reply from me.  I have been away from the computer and away from writing too so it has not been possible to catch up with everyone and say thanks for reading my posts, following me, and for leaving me such encouraging and positive comments.

So I want to give you all a very big thanks and say how much your interaction with me is appreciated.  I love it – I am so grateful for your time and interest.  It means so much to me.  Thanks.

I’ve not been out on my usual walks as much this year, since my injuries, so I have delved into my albums and found the photos (featured) to post for you all today.  I do hope you like them.  Autumn is such a wonderful time of year and I have a few favourite places I like to walk and where I take photographs, usually recording the changes in a particular place or with a special tree or hedgerow.

Anyway, thanks again for visiting and leaving your very welcome comments.  I shall endeavour to answer you all eventually; just be patient.

Oh, and I have a short story due to go online on Friday evening (7pm UK).  It is called ‘Changing the Guard.’  I do hope you will visit then and follow the links I shall post at that time.

Enjoy your week,

Jane x

  1. Hi Jane,
I shall look forward to Friday.

    • Thanks Chris, actually Morgen posted it early so it is live now. Over on her Writing blog (FFF as you know). Do let her and me know what you think. 🙂

  2. Loveya to bits, Jane, and no need for the apologies. 🙂 XX

  3. Jane lovely to hear from you and sorry you’ve had a tough year. Amazing photos as always! Looking forward to the short story. xx

    • Thanks for dropping in and lovely to hear from you Jo. I hope the new books is doing well. I am glad you liked the story. 🙂

  4. Absolutely lovely ‘photos, Jane! And I know all about how crazy life can get. I look forward to your short story.

    • Margot, thanks so much. Morgen posted the story early so it is up already. Your comments are always appreciated. Jxx

  5. Hi Jane, You really don’t have to apologise you know. Everyone understands that sometimes there are periods in your life when you can’t keep doing everything. It happens to everyone. The hope is that you, like me, will come out the other side feeling on top of everything again. I too have been feeling guilty that I haven’t kept up with the things I usually do. Life sometimes gets too difficult. Jim and I are gradually getting used to the fact that our beloved Bailey is no longer with us, but we’ll get there in the end. Your photographs are wonderful as usual, and please don’t feel guilty any more. We love you the way you are. xx

    • Phyllis, thanks so much for your kind words, appreciated as always. I know how you are still raw over Bailey and that it will be like this for a while of course. I do hope you are still writing and that you will find some solace in that. Thanks so much, I am thrilled you dropped in. 🙂

      • Hi Jane, new book still with editor, looking at December now for publication, will send you a copy!

        Jo xx

        • I would really love a copy Jo, thanks and do please ensure you keep me in the PR loop so I can help share it all for you. Exciting times, good luck 🙂

Please leave a reply and comment - your input is really appreciated. Thanks, Jane
